ATA Certified Translation Services

When you are in the process of applying for something like a work visa to live and work in a country like the United States you will be told that any official documents you have in your possession that are required to support your application must be presented in English. This means you will need a good translation done by an ATA Certified translation services if your documents are in a language other than English. The ATA is the American Translators Association.  For more information please visit Uscis Certified Translation Services.
The sorts of documents commonly requested are:
·         birth certificate;
·         marriage certificate;
·         degree and diploma certificates;
·         work references.

If you come from a country which does not speak English as its native language, even though you may be more or less fluent in the language, you will need to get all the required documents to support your application translated into English before your application will be considered.  All these documents have to be accurately translated otherwise they will be rejected by the United States Immigration and Citizenship Service whether you like it or not. The best solution is to hire a translator from an ATA Certified Translation Services.

It’s not compulsory for you to get your immigration documents translated by an ATA approved translator but if you do you will know you will probably be getting the best translator available to do the job. An ATA certified translator reflects the person’s commitment to the translation profession. Also because ATA translators are required to undergo continuing education this means you will get a translator who really knows his or her job.

ATA certification does not play the role of "been there, done that" as the program demands that translators continue to increase their professional translator’s knowledge.  ATA has put in place a certification program that means translators are able to demonstrate their ability to reach certain set standard. Translators after they have passed the examination are offered certification in the specific language pair. For more information please visit Legal Document Translation.

A seal is sometimes added that includes the translator’s name, languages, and unique certificate number. It has included a link to the ATA verification system that is online and permits clients the chance to confirm the registration of his or her chosen translator. The seal comes as a JPEG image and can be used to check your certification in documents. Some translators will use the seal in their certification of accuracy statements which they have to produce for any translated document that has to be presented to the USCIS. For more information please visit Certified Document Translation Services.

The reason for the certifying of the accuracy of documents is because the client is most likely only fluent in one language and will be unable to fully understand the translation. The certification of accuracy gives the client piece of mind that the translated document is accurate.
Cinch Translations offers ATA Certified Translation Services which are guaranteed accurate translations. Their translators are able to translate all kinds of original documents. Not just that, but the translator ensures that all the documents translated are certified so that the USCIS will accept them. For more information please visit Pdf Translator

ATA Certified Translator

You may now be in the process of completing all the formalities for entering the United States after receiving a job offer.  You  have probably been told what documents you need to submit to USCIS to get your visa approval such as a birth certificate, marriage certificate if applicable, medical reports and degree and diploma certificates. If your mother tongue is not English you will have to get all requested documents translated into English before you reach the final stages of your visa application and eventual approval.

If you are new to translating your documents, even if you are fluent in English, you are not permitted to undertake your own translations and must get someone from outside your immediate family to do the translations on your behalf. You have to be certain the translations are acceptable by USCIS standards as they require that you use a qualified translator. All you need to do is hire a translator who is prepared to write and sign a statement saying the translation is accurate. This signed statement will be needed to fulfil the USCIS requirements. Of course it is always in your best interest to check all the translations before you submit them to the USCIS as part of your application package.

U.S. law has not set any formal accreditation for translators but ATA, the American Translator’s Association, does hold courses and exams for eager translators who wish to gain work as a translator. If you want to be sure that you get the translation you deserve you should consider hiring an ATA certified translator who professes to be qualified to undertake translations at a high level.

There are some translators vying for work who have lived in an overseas country for a number of years and believe they have the qualifications to carry out translation work but they may not be good at more technical documents such as birth certificates, degree certificates and medical reports as a translator who has had some training, taken an exam and has gained an ATA membership and is considered to be an ATA certified translator

Many people who use translation services often learn to trust those that are ATA certified translators as they are more committed to completing a good translation job which will be accepted by the USCIS.
